Die holländischen blackened Death/Doom-Metaller SOULBURN haben einen ersten Song aus ihrem neuen, dritten Album „Earthless Pagan Spirit“ veröffentlicht. Den Album-Opener „Where Splendid Corpses Are Towering Towards The Sun“ könnt Ihr hier anhören:

SOULBURN-Bassist/Vocalist Twan van Geel kommentiert den Track äußerst bildhaft: „We are proud to present you the opening track from our upcoming album „Earthless Pagan Spirit“. This song is a classic ode to the supremacy of the blackest of Metal. „Where Splendid Corpses Are Towering Towards The Sun“ ravishes straight through the high hopes of a self-proclaimed righteous people and their plastic vanity. And at the triumph of their death, scorched by the sun of their own divinity, in the serene mist from their ashen skulls, we dance.“

„Earthless Pagan Spirit“ erscheint am 18. November 2016 via Century Media Records. SOULBURN besteht aus dene ehemaligen ASPHYX-Mitgliedern Eric Daniels (Gitarre) und Bob Bagchus (Schlagzeug) sowie Remco Kreft (Gitarre) und Twan van Geel (Bass, Gesang). Die Band hat bislang die beiden Alben “Feeding On Angels” (1998) sowie “The Suffocating Darkness” (2014).
