J.D. Kimball, der Originalsänger von OMEN, ist am 3.10. nach drejährigem Kampf gegen den Krebs gestorben. Omen-Gitarrist Kenny Powell: „He was a great writer, one of the true innovators in the early years of power metal. I am extremely proud of the records that we did together, „Battle Cry“, „Warning of Danger“, „Nightmares“ and „The Curse“.
