Einminütige Audio Samples von 5 Songs des neuen, selbstbetitelten STRATOVARIUS Albums wurden unter (Link) Online gestellt. Es handelt sich um die Tracks „Maniac Dance“ (erste Single), „Fight“, „Just Carry On“, „Back to Madness“ und „Gypsy in Me“.

„Stratovarius“ wird am 5. September via Sanctuary Records veröffentlicht. Ein Video für die erste Singleauskopplung „Maniac Dance“ wurde am 15. April in Helsinki unter der Obhut von Antti Jokinen (BEYONCÉ, WYCLEF JEAN, KORN, MISSY ELLIOT, NIGHTWISH, SHANIA TWAIN, CELINE DION) gedreht.
