Nachdem Gitarrist und Songwriter Mikael Sandorf THE DUSKFALL verlassen hat, haben die anderen Musiker beschlossen, die Band komplett zu Grabe zu tragen.

Mikael Sandorf:
„The time has come for me to leave THE DUSKFALL after 9 years. This has been a decision I have breathed, slept and thought over for a long time. I have gone through alot of good and fun times with the rest of the guys but keeping this band alive has taken a toll on me in my personal life. I feel that we have managed to write and record 4 great albums together, but now It´s time for me to move on. I want to thank everyone that has been involved in this journey and especially all the fans that has supported us all these years! You guys are great!!! I feel like there is alot of creativity waiting around the next corner and I have already plans on what to do next so be patient and stay on your toes for my next adventure. Love // Mike“
