Werkeln an neuem Album

News

FLOGGING MOLLY haben die Aufnahmen an ihrem neuen Album begonnen. Seit einigen Wochen arbeitet das Folk-Punk-Kollektiv am Nachfolger zu „Within A Mile Of Home“. Als Location für die Aufnahmen hat Frontmann Dave King ein kleines Studio nahe seiner Geburtsstadt in Irland gewählt.

Erfreuliches gibt es auch von Matt Hensley zu berichten. Der ehemalige Skate-Profi und Gründer des Mode-Labels INNES hat sich nach einer neunmonatigen persönlichen Pause dazu entschlossen, sich wieder
der Band anzuschließen und wirkt aktiv an der Entstehung des neuen Albums mit.

Matt beschreibt dies so: „The truth is that my life makes sense again, and I feel like I’m where I need to be in this world.“ und fügt hinzu: „I missed the feeling of ‚knowing where you’re at.‘ Being the accordion player in this band is my zone; where I belong. I got emails all the time from people who care deeply about the band. I missed being able to affect people in a positive way.“
