CHILDREN OF BODOM sind zusammen mit Produzent Mikko Karmila ins Petrax Studio in Hollola, Finnland eingekehrt, um ihr neues Album aufzunehmen, das 7. April 2008 europaweit über Spinefarm Records veröffentlicht werden soll. Die CD, auf der u.a. Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY, PAIN) als Gast zu hören sein wird, wird zuvor, am 3. März 2008, mit einer Single-Auskopplung begleitet.

Einige Songtitel wurden ebenfalls bereits bekanntgegeben: „Pray for the Devil“, „Good Morning Roadkill“ und „Tie My Rope“.

„I was in a really aggressive mood, so I think the songs are thrashier and faster than the ones on ‚Are You Dead Yet?'“, sagt Laiho. „It’s a faster album, but some of it is more progressive. You’ll just have to hear it.“
