Am 21. April 2009 werden CHIMAIRA ihr neues Album „The Infection“ in Nordamerika veröffentlichen. Ein Releasedate für Europa ist allerdings noch nicht in Aussicht, da die Band bisher kein Label für diese Aufgabe gefunden hat.
