ANTHRAX haben eine Deluxe-Version ihres Albums „Persistence Of Time“ angekündigt. Anlass dafür ist das 30-jährige Jubiläum der Platte.
Die Neuauflage wird auf CD und Vinyl erscheinen. Die CD-Variante kommt als Doppeldecker plus Bonus-DVD daher. Die Vinylversion kommt auf vier LPs und mit überarbeitetem Artwork daher. Letzteres soll laut der Band das ursprüngliche visuelle Konzept für das Album besser reflektieren als das bisherige Cover.
ANTHRAX lassen sich nicht lumpen
Für die Reissue ließ die Truppe alle Songs von „Persistence Of Time“ neu mastern. Des Weiteren befinden sich auf den zusätzlich Discs und LPs zahlreiche Bonustracks wie Demos und Liveaufnahmen.
Auf der DVD finden Fans eine 40 Minuten lange Kurzdokumentation über die Tour von ANTHRAX als Support von IRON MAIDEN im Jahr 1991. Als besonderes Highlight verspricht die Combo: „Das Teil endet damit, dass [Charlie] Benante, [Frank] Bello und [Scott] Ian gemeinsam mit IRON MAIDEN ihren Song „Sanctuary“ als Konzertabschluss spielen.“
