MAYHEM haben einen neuen Vertrag mit Season Of Mist Records für ihr kommendes Album „Chimera“ abgeschlossen. Aufgenommen wird die CD in einem mobilen Studio in den norwegischen Bergen im November/Dezember. Als Erscheinungsdatum ist März 2004 angepeilt. Hier ein Bandstatement: „‚Chimera‘ will be a résumé of all our previous albums. But one thing is sure: it’s going to be black metal. No more fooling around. We proved ourselves creative and ahead of the rest with ‚GDOW‘. With ‚Chimera‘, we are taking back the throne that is ours.“ Einige Songtitel stehen schon fest: 01. Rape Humanity With Pride, 02.
