KATAKLYSM haben sich mit Regisseur Joe Lynch (Coal Chamber/311/Godhead/Pete Yorn) zusammen getan, um das Video zur ersten Single ihres neuen Albums „Serenity In Fire“ zu drehen. Der Clip zu „As I Slither“ wird im The Huntridge Theater in Las Vegas am 31. August während des Las Vegas Metalfests abgedreht werden. Joe Lynch sagt folgendes über seine Zusammenarbeit mit Kataklysm: „Let’s face it…Kataklysm are brutal and talented musicians, and it’s an honour to work with a band who still pursues the fundamentals of what makes powerful metal, and I mean like „balls out, 150% proof, freak your momma“ type metal here, folks. All I wanna do with this video is capture their intense performance in the middle of Hades-er, Vegas, which should prove to be an interesting backdrop. I’ll tell you this, I’m excited as hell to shoot the sh*t outta these guys…and just a little scared, which to me is a good thing for metal, and hopefully that will translate onto this clip.“
