Voller Stolz präsentiert JEFF LOOMIS den brandneuen Song „A Liar’s Chain“, der mit dem aktuellen Tour Line-Up, bestehend aus den Jung-Talenten Joe Nurre (Gitarre und Gesang), Anup Sastry (Drums) und Greg Macklin (Bass), aufgenommen wurde.

Jeffs Meinung: „A Liar’s Chain“ is the first of three songs that I recorded with my band to officially debut online. We started playing it live on our last US run and it seemed to go over really well with fans. I had so much fun recording Surrender with Ihsahn on vocals for my last solo album that I wanted to do more songs like that. Joe Nurre, who has been playing guitar in my band for the last year or so, has a pretty killer death metal voice, so I thought it would be perfect to do some more stuff like this with him as well as the rest of the guys.
I’m really looking forward to getting over to Europe again. I have so much fun there. The Euroblast tour and festival has some amazing musicians on it, which is going to be really special for me as well, as I love watching and hearing great bands play. We’re going to be playing A Liar’s Chain as well as one other new song with Joe singing. I look forward to seeing everyone there.“

Das zweite Soloalbum „Plains Of Oblivion“ ist seit April 2012 bei Century Media Records erhältlich. Das Album wurde von Aaron Smith (7 Horns / Eyes) produziert wartet mit Cover Artwork von Colin Marks (Rain Song Design) auf, der bereits an JEFFs Solodebüt „Zero Order Phase“ an der Nevermore DVD „The Year Of The Voyager mitwirkte.

Derzeit befindet sich JEFF LOOMIS in Australien, um auf seiner Guitar Clinic Tour seine neue Signature-Gitarre Schecter JLV7 zu präsentierten (Daten siehe unten).

Die Euroblast Tour mit den Label-Kollegen Monuments (UK), Vildhjarte (Schweden) und Stealing Axion (USA) startet am 17. Oktober 2012. Einen Tour Trailer gibt es HIER zu bestaunen.
