Der Platz an den Drums galt bei HYPOCRISY bisher als Konstante, mit Lars Szöke (1992 – 2004) und Reidar Horghagen alias „Horgh“ gaben bisher lediglich zwei Musiker den Takt an. Nun aber gaben HYPOCRISY bekannt, dass „Horgh“ die Band nach 18 Jahren Mitgliedschaft verlassen hat, im O-Ton:

„I want to take this opportunity to thank the fans for the great support over the years, and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to meet so many of you as we toured around the world. Thanks to the band and crew for the time we spent together. I wish you all the best for the future.“

Wer nun auf die Rückkehr von Lars Szöke gehofft hat, dürfte zumindest Stand jetzt diesbezüglich enttäuscht werden: heute gaben HYPOCRISY bekannt, Henrik Axelsson, seines Zeichens Fellgerber seit 2014 bei THE CROWN, für die Position verpflichtet zu haben. Axelsson wird zunächst als Session Drummer zur Band stoßen und die Schweden auf ihrer anstehenden Europa-Tour zum aktuellen Album „Worship“ begleiten.
