IDLE HANDS sind aufgrund des US-amerikanischen Urheberrechts dazu gezwungen, ihren Namen zu ändern. Fortan firmiert das Quartett unter dem Namen UNTO OTHERS, wie die Portlander am gestrigen Mittwoch auf Social Media bekanntgaben.

Good day friends and supporters of IDLE HANDS. From this day forward the band will record and perform as UNTO OTHERS Over the the next couple weeks we will be updating all of our socials and digital streaming platforms with the new name, these will be the same profiles so you won’t have to re-follow anything. Please be patient during this process as some things may get changed over sooner than others. We will still play the back catalog live going forward and all albums and EP’s will remain a part of our digital discographies. Thank you to everyone who showed their support for the band these past couple days, we will do our best for you going forward. Respectfully, UNTO OTHERS

Die Veröffentlichungen werden auch weiterhin digital verfügbar sein und auf Konzerten gespielt. Momentan findet ein Ausverkauf statt, bei dem Restbestände mit dem alten Bandnamen verkauft werden sollen.

UNTO OTHERS sind eine Heavy-Metal-Band aus Portland, Oregon, welche vor allem für ihre Goth-Rock-Einflüsse bekannt ist. Mit „Don’t Waste Your Time“ und „Mana“ haben sie bislang zwei Alben herausgebracht, von dem letzteres von uns zum zweitbesten Album des Jahres 2019 gekürt wurde. Vor einigen Monaten erschien mit „Don’t Waste Your Time Part 2“ eine neue Veröffentlichung.
