It feels like yesterday when the 2 teenagers from Stockholm arrived at my so called studio in Finspång. I remember that they wanted the „Hammerheart“ sound, but there was also a lot of talk about Norwegian Black Metal. My clearest memory of that first session was that Jonas couldn’t get the fast part of one of the songs to work. He blamed the pedal, his knee, the weather……but it sounded crap. And I told them „You got to skip the fast stuff, and go all slow and be the first Doomy Gothic Black Metal band. You will have a deal in no time“

The guys listened and it wasn’t very long until they came back for the 1st album!!

I don’t know the other guys, but Anders and Jonas are really kick ass dudes and they have my warmest greetings on their birthday!

Congratulations to 20 successful years of great music. Incredible how time goes by soon 20 years ago that we shared the stage on your first show! We wish you all the best and hope to be able to share the stage with you once again in the future. Keep on writing your own brand of great metal and keep on holding the swedish metal banner high!
