Neue CD und Biographie in Arbeit!

GRAVE DIGGER beenden gerade die Vorproduktion ihrer neuen Platte, die zwischen Oktober und Dezember in den Principal Studios bei Münster aufgenommen werden soll. Die Resetti Brothers und GRAVE DIGGER-Frontmann Chris Boltendahl werden das Teil produzieren. Hier ein offizielles Statement: „All music is written and the band is working at the final concept and the lyrics. The concept is a secret but we can tell you that it is the beginning of another interesting trilogy, which will lead the listeners into a world of … with great classical True Metal and brilliant epic moments. After their last dark and evil output, The Grave Digger, the band will return to their brilliant epic roots from the 90ies.“ Das noch unbetitelte Werk wird wieder ein Coverartwork von Markus Mayer (NIGHTWISH, METALIUM) schmücken. Die VÖ ist für den 26. Mai 2003 über Nuclear Blast Records geplant. Desweiteren wird im Oktober die langerwartete Bandbiographie, die von Holger Koch und Chris Boltendahl geschrieben worden ist, erscheinen. Für das Vorwort zeichnete sich Götz Kühnemund vom Rock Hard Magazin verantwortlich. Als weiterer Gastschreiber wirkte Andreas Schöwe vom Metal Hammer mit. Enthalten sein werden auch ein paar Fotos aus den Privatarchiven von Chris Boltendahl. Hier sein Statement dazu: „It’s a very personal look into the development of a band which started in a youth center, destroying guitars and covering their idols, the story of a band which members like to be Metal Gods and their way to the up and downs of the music business.“ Das Buch wird zuerst nur in Deutschland erhältlich sein. Eine englische Ausgabe ist aber für nächstes Jahr in Planung.
